Magical Musical Moments offers music therapy one to one for children through older adults conducted by a Board Certified Music Therapist. Individual music therapy sessions may be held in the home or residential facility as well as at one of our rented locations. All children and adults receiving individual music therapy will have a treatment plan specifiying their musical and nonmusical goals and objectives in music therapy based on a music therapy assessment and other information provided and observed.
Magical Musical Moments offers music therapy for groups of children with similar goals or other relationships conducted by a Board Certified Music Therapist. A music therapy group might be formed to address a particular need, such as increasing social skills. Additionally, a music therapy group might include children in a classroom together or family members. Anyone participating in an ongoing music therapy group will have a treatment plan specifiying their musical and nonmusical goals and objectives in music therapy based on a music therapy assessment and other information provided and observed.
Magical Musical Moments offers consultations conducted by a Board Certified Music Therapist to other professionals about using music therapeutically. Consultations may include instructing a teacher on using a music therapy technique with a child receiving services or professional development training to increase understanding about the effectiveness and implementation of music therapy.
Magical Musical Moments offers a variety of Inservices and Workshops to increase the awareness of the benefits and uses of music therapy. A variety of presentations are available including Music Assisted Relaxation, Overview of Music Therapy, and Music Therapy for Specific Populations. Presentations combine lecture with interactive experientials.
